Jonathan Byrd - PGA Tour Pro

BackOffice Associates® is proud to sponsor Jonathan Byrd. Jonathan started off the 2011 season with an epic defeat over Robert Garrigus on the second extra hole at Kapalua to win the season-opening Hyundai Tournament of Champions. He currently stands at 18th on the 2011 PGA Tour Money List for 2011 and ranks 22nd on the FedEx Regular Season Point list. 

A right-hander from Anderson, South Carolina, Jonathan Currie Byrd now lives with his wife, Amanda and son Jackson, in St. Simons Island, Georgia, and plays out of Sea Island Golf Club. Jonathan graduated from Clemson University with a degree in marketing in 2000 and turned professional that same year, eventually earning his PGA Tour card in 2002.

He was first introduced to golf by his father at the age of three. Since then Jonathan has accomplished so much; a list of those accomplishments includes:

  • Currently ranked 22nd on the 2011 PGA Tour Money List
  • Holds 5 Top 10 finishes and 7 Top 25 of the 25 events played in 2011 
  • Finished in second place in Wells Fargo Championship, 2011
