BackOffice Associates® is proud to sponsor Jonathan Byrd. His best finish on the PGA Tour in 2008 is tied 9th at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. He finished 60th on the Money List for 2008 and he ranks tied 28th in Birdie Average on the PGA Tour.

A right-hander from Anderson, South Carolina, Jonathan Currie Byrd now lives with his wife, Amanda and son Jackson, in St. Simons Island, Georgia, and plays out of Sea Island Golf Club. Jonathan graduated from Clemson University with a degree in marketing in 2000 and turned professional that same year, eventually earning his PGA Tour card in 2002.

He was first introduced to golf by his father at the age of three. Since then Jonathan has accomplished so much; a list of those accomplishments includes:

• First-team All-American by Golf Coaches Association, 1999
• Third-team All-American by Golf Coaches Association, 2000
• First-team Academic All-American by Golf Coaches Association, 1999 and 2000

• First four-time first-team All-ACC Golfer in Clemson history
• Number-two ranked amateur in United States entering Spring 2000
• Clemson University Athlete of the Year in 1998-99
• Amateur Golfer of the Year in South Carolina for 1999
• Member of 1999 United States Walker Cup Team
• Member of United States Palmer Cup team 1999 and 2000. 4-0 record with 1999 team.
