Active Data Governance™

Turning Master Data Management into a Business Process

You need to proactively manage the creation of master data for your conversion to SAP. BackOffice Associates provides a full suite of Active Data Governance™ applications called cApps™, which create a fire wall for this move to SAP, and which empower work-group collaboration to collectively author complex master data objects for SAP. Our model provides a secure web-based front end to SAP that is scenario based, task and role based and fully integrated with workflow for ease of use.

cApps™

The Collaborative Applications (cApps™) are dynamic, web-enabled applications that empower business users to collaboratively author, review and approve changes to SAP master data. Continually validating the data against your business rules and existing master data, the cApps™ act as a data “firewall” to ensure Business-Ready Data™ quality in SAP. The business owners of the master data define business processes, scenarios, roles and dependent tasks for the active governance of master data changes. This configuration then drives e-mail-enabled workflow to ensure additions and updates are correct and complete before being introduced to your SAP system. Each cApps™ product specializes in the maintenance of one or more master data modules.
